wow, what a 16th birthday present. for my entire life up until less than a week ago, i've been trying so hard to embody what i thought it meant to "have a personality" that i've just been a miserable shell. superiority complexes built on my pride in having characteristics that never even applied to me always inevitably fell apart, with me falling apart with them because i WAS the fakes i made. my thought process was that i can't be the mirror i am, or else i'm defective. i *have* to be *someone*
