  • Where have you been?

    • I just took a bit of a break from audiotool and tryed to learn more about music and also had to focus on school some more

  • you are amazing. you are your bae. love yourself. never forget that.

  • I like where you're headed man, keep up the work, and keep experimenting with the synths! Also try to get out the habit of using presets on synths and the fx, it'll do you better to learn it for yourself :)

  • Thanks for the follow! <3

  • 69 followers lol

  • XD I thought I was following you already

  • are you following and unfollowing me because it keeps telling me that you followed me

  • followd back

  • Anytime

  • But I wouldn't worry about mastering too much rn. I'd focus on finding your own sound and working with mixing before you get into all that.

  • You'll also want to play with some effects. You'll usually only need like reverb and then whatever you want after. For mixing I recommend cutting frequencies before you ever boost them. So use the eq and just kinda toy around until it sounds good.

    • For anything that isn't bass though take off anything at or below 150 hz on it too

  • For synths: you'll pretty much always want to take off the release, mess with the attack and decay a bit and just toy around with it. For the sustain for pads/leads you'll generally want it maxed out. You'll have to toy with the frequency level and waveforms to find your own sound

  • Are you looking for like synth help, theory help, or what?

    • I think I'd like to learn more about synths and mixing and mastering to start

  • I know there are a lot of great books out there on it. They should all be relatively cheap too. Is there any particular thing you're looking for?
