Hello, I was wondering if your offer about playing guitar for tracks is still open. I have a track that I've wanted to invite you to for a while. AT suspended sample uploading before I could ask though, so I abandoned it. However, since sample uploading has been enabled again, I've decided to pick it back up and ask you if you'd still like to join! The track is going to be submitted to a VA compilation in December. (I can give you more information about that privately)
Yo. So when I made these tracks, I specifically recall setting them to be available to the public, but coming back and looking now, it's showing all my samples as hidden. WTF?
Soooo no hope of using VSTs yet, can't upload a sample, and at best, I might get to the point I have to upload my ID every time I do a guitar take one day . . . It's like they WANT me to just move on to Ableton and Soundcloud :(
Yeah, but it's generally moments before I record it haha. I start off with the chord progressions, some sort of lead melody, then think of where I could put guitar parts, and ditto around with the scale until I've got something, record it on Ableton, then upload the wav files and mix them here.
ah good man, the more time you can make music the better eh ;) do you not jam on your guitar for a bit beforehand and come up with something? thats roughly what I do with my piano
It's been going well. Just staying busy haha. About to start allocating a portion of my day to music as an additional outlet again though. Trying to think of a melody to start off of. I have an odd method of preferring to think it all up in my head before I start rather than experimenting. When I experiment, I always tend to fall into a loop of chord progressions I already know from the radio and such. When I write it in my head first, I feel like I get better results.
