hey well theres one thing for sure, practice, screw around and find the sounds you like most, then continue making that type of sounds in different ways and with different styles of music, then after a few tries, or even on the first try you may become the next skrillex or flux pavilion or something, :D
I'm getting there -.- My soundcloud got really screwed up somehow, so I need to finish making my profile picture, plus I'm already working on my first track using AudioTool. I'm still learning, but I'm teaching myself pretty good so far.

Use the machiniste to pitch percussion samples; use the pitch knob :)
