My original account got locked out by my school. I could still see the site and listen to music, just not log in. I have finally decided to recreate my account so I may use this app again. I don't know what is up with my school and locking logins with school accounts, but they screwed up several times and blocked logging into Desmos when I was doing something important with it, they unblocked Desmos eventually.

  • HAPPY NEW YEAR!

  • I need criticism on my music. Positive or negative, I do not care, as long as I can learn from it and grow because of it.

    • also ive noticed a huge improvement on my work after having watched a hundread of pros making music on Ableton. u should try to find ur favorite artist on YT, maybe he/she already made that kind of videos.

    • synth laying is also really important in order to cover a wide range of frequencies.

for the groove, mess with the note velocities, a track with same note velocities sounds monotonous and robotic...

To finish, add some distortion, you will get beautiful harmonics and crispy texture that u can automate. Most of pro tracks have a ton of distortion but they also have a ton of EQ in order to avoid really high peak freq

    • i dont know what to tell ya, our tracks are really different, i guess our musical sense too. ive noticed that ur tracks dont have chorus, verse, drops, ur drums are really wet, maybe too much reverb on them. add some groove, some movement to ur drums and ur synths, automate volumes, lfo, decay etc

Also eq are really important, try to delete harsh frequencies and enhance harmonics

  • Out of all the 90 tracks I have published as of 24 Dec 2024, which is your favorite and why?
