use the machiniste. Load the sample, play it using a note track and then use an automation of the pitch knob. If it is a loop sample, try different project tempos. If it is a one shot, you can manipulate the pitch as it is always loaded to sound the same. This means that loading a high pitched vocal at 300 bpm and then going down to 170, you get a normal pitch vocal.
