Unfortunately, you do have to split up samples into 30 second (or shorter) clips. You can split up the guitar in some basic program (like Audacity or something, which is free) into shorter clips, then upload them into Audiotool. After you upload them, you can put the samples into the Machiniste - it holds about 8 or 9 samples at a time, I believe. Then, just make a note track and you can put the split-up guitar tracks into the piano roll.
