I think audiotool is great for networking/collaboration, learning/teaching and new ideas forming in niche music scenes. Your audience is going to be fellow artists, so success and recognition doesn't follow standard conventions for a general audience. I think contribution gets you far more recognition in this space than effort for instance.
audiotool IS technically a social media, but it's highly specific. Nothing but weirdo producers on here; a true hell on earth ;)
and honestly that's why I haven't put the effort I should have into this when I first started. I was what I just explained. and now I'm older, been doing this for a while. branching out of at isn't a bad thing
