My life’s goal is to provide high quality music instruction; this includes courses in the following disciplines: piano, sequential harmony, musicianship courses, tonal, modal and atonal theory through 20th century trends. I teach piano, violin, singing, vocal, band and orchestral pedagogy, ethno-musicology and composition. I also teach harmony and musicianship development that range from beginning to advanced levels. I am currently working as a certified music teacher at a public school in New York City.
I was born in Romania, where I worked with ethnically communities; I developed a high sense of understanding and garnered experience with students from varied academic, cultural, socio-economic and ethnic backgrounds {including Roma-Gypsy students}.
