hey, man. the best way to learn this stuff is to make it, play with things, and feel around. Also Infyuthsion has some great youtube videos on how to use stuff and the basic underlying ideas of electronic music.
It makes me laugh when people say that electronic music takes no skill--I've been using Audiotool, perhaps the most user-friendly software for electronic music in the world, for about two years now. It's still hard to produce good tracks.
