How can one tell fish from amphibians? Fish have fins as appendages, and most have scales that cover the body. Most adult amphibians have legs and no body scales. Fish never have true legs. The scales of a fish overlap each other like shingles on a roof. The scales are not shed like the hair or feathers of mammals or birds. But if any are lost by accident, new ones grow to take their place
What causes hail? Hail most often happens in the spring, and it falls primarily during thunderstorms. Hail begins its descent as rain droplets. These droplets are carried upward again and again. They develop several coatings of ice resulting in the creation of hailstones. When they become too heavy for the cloud, The result is that the hailstones fall to the earth
