It matters what kind of sound you want to fade or how you want to fade it if you want to make a fading effect. I suggest gradually lowering the volume, level, or gain in general. If it's a pulverisateur fast fade, I suggest playing with the filter ENV amount knob. If you want a enhanced/dramatic fade, use any fading sample in the sample library.

another way is to use the reverb. it creates an echo, that, will fade off to create a feeling like you are in a gym and you hear an echo. that fades.
