hey we're back again with the second composition game! this one is based on the harmonic series :o
start with a justly tuned major triad (i added a 6th for spice) with frequency ratios 2:3:5. each move the player can do one of two things; multiply or divide a voice two times by a 2, 3, 5, or 7, or tune one voice to a multiple of the frequency of another voice. the goal is to reach another simply tuned (or reasonably simply tuned) major triad.
this is all towards my eventual goal of creating a system of harmonically-informed free microtonality
Intriguing and beautiful! :) I had to take a look inside the remixing environment to see how you did it. One can only wish that Audiotool would have easier microtonal control. ;)
That's very nice to know, thanks! :) I find your music particularly interesting, and I especially love that they are so experimental. Your really dope jazz harmonies are also a big plus. :)

Are you saying that you got MAX/MSP to communicate with Audiotool via MIDI? That sounds insanely awesome! I'd love to have a look at the patch! :)
thank you for the love frigolito! I'm honored that you've taken time to listen to my music :) your music has taught me so much about composition and experimentation.
re: microtonal control, yesterday I figured out a way to control the frequency of multiple oscillators through midi control via max/msp, so the process for composing free microtonal music in AT is much much simpler! I'm planning on posting something of that this week, hopefully with the max patch included.
