    • oh wait i just realized you brought up syzy- i've listened to his stuff before oh my gosh thank you for showing me him again i NEED to relisten to some of his tracks

    • and i was gonna work around the reverb better but i was already like 2 hours in on this and my brain was telling me "bah you'll fix it later (you wont)" and i just left it at that lol

    • i KNEW I SHOULD'VE PUT A WAVESHAPER I DONT KNOW WHAT I WAS THINKING !!! AAa

  • advice?

Depends on what you wanna do

this just sounds like old dubstep and that's peak asf :))))

    • Can experiment with different automations on mixing devices ie low high band pass etc

I'll toss you a crummy thing I made and see what you do with it xd

    • i have no idea what i wanna do i just wanna make silly bass music sounds Xd

  • beef that main bass up and mess with some more mixing and youve got a banger

  • super super cool

  • Left field-ish dubstep/uncategorisable. This is pretty great. Would love to hear bass music people moving away from the usual formulas just like this. Can't really judge mixing right now, but, again, solid work.

    • yeah im not exactly good at 1:1'ing genres cause brain prefers working with them in my own way (mostly as a result of failing TO 1:1 it) Xd

its just fun making something people don't recognize man, and now im trying to sillily work with tearout and of course im gonna butcher it into just another uncategorisable genre like this one- but i'll darn well have fun in doing so

    • Reminds me a bit of some of the dubstep tracks from early 2010s with lots of fast percussion and basically this iconic snare. I miss that type of dubstep.
