    Just a loop and a generic beat..

    I'd highly recommend learning to develop your own sounds, melodies, and/or create drum patterns with more variation.

    Using loop samples is fine, but do something creative with them - whether that's chopping, or using it as part of the whole track, rather than it pretty much being the whole track.
