ps: at the times where I used to produce with reason or cubase or something the result after mixing with headphones was much worse. I think mixing with headphones is ok, but you should test the sound on some other speakers aswell ...
I prefer my headphones since I use audiotool, normally that's okay ( maybe cause most audiotoolers use them to listen) this track soundsnot so good on my speakers. But yes off course we need better ones ;)
Sandburgen it's interesting you bring up this subject; i work on tracks using my bose 15 headphones which are awesome and when I finish a track and listen through crap speakers on the comp I hear crappy mix - when I remix with the crap speakers it sounds muffled and over done and never quite right and i end up settling on the headphone mix - maybe we just need better speakers
thanks oedipax ... that means a lot to me I'm not that satisfied with the sound (on my shabby speakers) on headphones is ok ... but that's life unplugged ;)
Nice to hear that Astrum, thanks. Audiotool makes it easy I think, cause is not that much you have to remember. But I really want to get into some theory things. I'm not good in that.
