yeah, I think I know what you mean. I'm intensely non-technical, but I'm amazed at the combinations of wave forms you can coax from the pulv now. There's no stopping us!
I've just started to experiment with the sync button. One great thing I've noticed is for sub-bass, urning the second oscillator to saw-tooth and syncing it too a sin-wave on the first oscillator and you can then turn the saw-tooth osc down a few more octaves without it sounding weak and disjointed (not sure how to explain).
