I really like that kind of DnB, so I decided to create my own deep growling basses.
Btw I'm really bad at teaching and have so little time, so there WILL be a tutorial but I can't promise when, I'm looking foward to do it but time's missing.
Thanks for your support, maybe I'll change my name soon because I don't want to be "CGMan" :P that is just some random username. I'll let you know
it's very difficult to turn the volume of the hats down, because the beat is running through a gate effect, if I turn the volume down they won't be there anymore :> Let's see what I can do.
Love the edits, that "monotonous" bass works, and keeps the DnB filthy but well balanced. Maybe, turn down the hats a taaaaaaaaaad bit? They are a bit overpowered in my main speakers.. They seems to drown out the snare more or less which should prob be over the hats in balance .. nonetheless a magnificent unparalleled spectacle of sound and timbre. Who I am to critique anyway, ILOVETHISMUSIC!!
The final (maybe?) version is now uploading, it will be accessable in some minutes.. I made it a bit more monotonous, because I like it that way. The high bass variation is not that loud anymore
omg. perfect! you are a master.. i love this kind of dnb too. (thanks to oedipax). i actually tried to create the growling bass myself, but i didnt use the one shots like you once told me too, but i wasnt as successful as you. anyway have a listen if you want:
