let me tell you a story.

This story begins on a website where anyone could create any sort of electronic music for free. On this platform you could find a lot of cool and interesting tracks: from dark melancholic peaces of art to upbeat dance songs. However it seems that now you have to look for quite a while to find anything like that. Because what you are going to find is trap music. Uninspired trap beats that all sound the same because everyone is making the same stuff. Throw a gun shot sample in there, have some trap hats and some sub basses, Now grab your favorite loop sample and throw it into the mix aswell. DONE.

I don't know if these people are trying to ride the trend of these songs getting popular or why this is happening. But please: if you want to keep audiotool from drowning in trap music even more than it is, before you publish that "ten minutes in the making trap beat", consider if this is really something that you are proud of, if it is something that you would actually want to listen to yourself and most of all, if it is a copy of every other trap song on audiotool.
