I think you may need to work on getting clearer pads. The detuning makes it hard to tell where things are going. It may also just be the reverb, or maybe even your voicings. It's important to pick out the guide tones when you want strong leading (which is a good idea with substitutions).

sounds like you discovered the beauty in lfo modulation.. when the rate is juuuust right.. the leads are angelic.. I love these synths.. gorgeous..
kill verb volume and increase room size, increase attack just a tad and you have yourself a breathy flute..
just layer it with some atonal harmonics with the third osc on the pulv and maybe layer it with the rasslebock via aux half time and low gain.. dude you are there!
