Still figuring this 3/4 12/4 time business

I've been busy fixing my house with my dad and playing video games instead of working on music or myself. It's fall now so I don't have to fan my computer so I'll start working on music again.

    Oh! Right on man! Sorry, was just trying to help. Yeah i dig polyrhythms too. I use a lot of simpler ones. 5/4 or 7/8 over 4/4. Fun!

    @The Seahorse No, I'm trying to come with complex layered songs without sounding like everything I'm writing is a waltz in 3/4 time. I'm still evaluating stylistic choices.

    I like this! Good track.

    With the 3/4 or 12/4 or any variation of those, the top (or first) number is the amount of beats in a measure and the bottom (or second) number is the note that equals 1 beat. In this case, a quarter note.
