1:05 with the tuned bell is hard
I think what would make this song a hit is to give it some straight forward structure. Keep the intro, but maybe add some chords and open up a filter on them, hit the drums before :30 and start to build them some too... double the first verse at :40 and half the last section to make room for an outro.
