Here I am still practicing with the synthesizers. I think this time I have nothing out of key, but if I am wrong please tell me! I have tried to have all the synths in the same interval (I'm trying to start getting the basic concepts of music theory, since I really have 0 idea), and make them progress slower so that nothing is out of place.
I guess the next step is to star trying to do some more chords over the mix so it doesn't feels this empty, but well, please tell me what you think about it! <3
yeah really nice man, agree with HTR sound design wise! :) I think the next step for you when it comes to synths is learning what all the different fx plugins do, i see youre using reverb/filters/compression which is a good start, but for example some subtle chorus and stereo-detune would work wonders on that main pad. Also i cant iterate enough about learning how to EQ properly, both attenuating and cutting freqs; are you familiar with the standard frequency chart?
Yes man that would be amazing! I've reciently moved to Next so that is not a problem! It's pretty late now, but any other day you have some spare time i would be more than happy to get a little lesson :)
"old school" vocals seemed a bit cheesy in my opinion i wouldn't have put vocal shouts on a track of this genre! other than that its really good, and again your style is really cool and unique!
i always enjoy vocals to spice tracks up, but yeah this one in particular is kind of cheesy. I may try to make a more 'techno' vocal free sample.. thanks for the feedback
Not bad! Your sound design is pretty impressive for someone who's new to production. The track is fairly quiet overall, but that's not too hard to fix. I don't listen to Acid House that much at all haha, so I'm not too helpful
I think I'm gonna leave thins song as It is and play with the kicks for a while on a draft so I can get how yo do It properly, I'll tell you when I get something done ;)
