the first sound is the before. the second is the after idk if i did it right, so if someone who knows what theyre talking about would checck it out and let me know it would be appreciated

taught me when we were making my latest single, then I introduced it to Astrel on discord. It's not really parallel compression tho, but I guess he achieved a similar end sound using a different technique?
WOW you actually tried out the technique I told you about! it's pretty neat, tho I have to agree with Perds, u gotta take out the feedback before the compression otherwise your sound also compresses the feedback as well
generally you wanna layer the compressed sound with the original, but I cant really see that in the effects chain. There ARE more than a few ways to do it so you might be doing it ok as well
