I wanted to step back and try to make something a little simpler and more stripped down
It was originally meant to be a backing track for a new song I recently wrote on guitar, but I really liked how this sounded on its own without any vocals :)
[I might record vocals over it at some point, but no promises :P]

Definitely takes inspiration from that style of music though. That part of the song is also the same progression (albeit in a different key) as Counting Stars by One Republic
