As if this has 100 plays. What is wrong with you people...
Everyone has dreams. Goals. Aims in life. But far too often we each fall short of these achievements we set for ourselves. In a way, it's inevitable and once we slip it's hard to stop. It's hard to stop, pick ourselves up and dust ourselves off and start again. Because failing is not in our best interest. It isn't hard wired in to our minds like success. Like progress. We strive for progression and it is that, perhaps, which drew us apart from other species. We are not content just to survive. It is in our nature to increase, improve, imagine, innovate. But that's hard. There are people out there who are better than you. Better than me. Who are waiting at the top of the stairs of life to nudge you off balance and watch you tumble. That's life. There are obstacles, broken steps, missing hand rails, rotted planks. All there to watch a man falling down the stairs. But that's life. But know this: One day you'll make it to the top of those stairs. You'll look down and see the trial of fire it took to reach where you are and you will know that it made you stronger. Wiser. More adaptable and knowledgable. In a way, those of us who fall most are the ones who will be the happiest. The most content. So fail. Don't be afraid. Sure it'll hurt but you'll have a kickass scar and a story to tell for it. You'll learn from that. You'll be better for that. All I ask is that you never give up. Keep on climbing. And don't for a second think that this whole thing is just a ruse to cover for the fact that I made a Heisenberg that sounded like someone falling down the stairs and I thought it would be funny to publish...
