--------------

I was waiting for the train in Rotterdam Centraal Station, I had more or less another half an hour to wait. Walking through this beautiful station I noticed that there was a piano available for travellers. I thought it would be very interesting to sample the sound of the piano together with all the background noises: people walking and talking, train announcements, escalator noises and so on. So I played a few chords and notes.

This is the first of a long series of tracks in which I will use the piano sounds, transformed or left as they are, from Rotterdam station.

The 'opera' sample was sampled from the loudspeakers of the same station.

I thank 0-Scope for helping me make this experimental piece more harmonically correct and more interesting.

I hope we can collaborate on an experimental project in the future.

    • I understand. I actually didn't have time to listen to the song on various platforms, I only had low quality headphones when I posted it. Also, I didn't EQ the second piano line at all. Yes, I would love to see what you would do, your advice is welcome.

      Thanks again
