well im kind of late, but the clipping you're hearing is the distortion bug from the slopes you're using on the master. basically it soft-clips everything going through it, it's dumb but there's no way around it other than just turning down before it and boosting again after

It's sad how much I feel my skills are declining. I can't seem to create anything unique or interesting lately.
Also, I couldn't boost the volume any more because Audiotool still clips somehow even with the limter on for this track. I think I may wait until Next - whenever that may be - to make more stuff.

1:00 i wouldnt lowpass the kick so much. or if the kick is already lowpassed, add another one with more higher frequencies, but not too high. If I were to play this on a regular phone speaker, i would hear sidechain, but i wouldnt hear a kick

neat little mini-atmosphere, definitely would have benefited from a bigger sound.
make sure you're always making new stuff & trying new things (i know it's hard). keep listening to new sources of inspiration. i suggest bonobo ;D

Don't get so down on yourself, man. We all go through writer's block or feel that we're in a rut. One thing that seems help me snap out of it when I feel I've lost my way it is going back and listening to old inspirations. Almost always gets me going again. Btw, That lead pad is fantastic!
