The hi-hats work seeing that you're going for Trap, that dark-sh melody too.
Try adding 808 - I got some if you look it up in the search bar - then try varying the patters; give it a Trap feel.
this is a song that is my second experiment in trap music so any advice or constructive criticism is appreciated
