  m9 aye, jamming on the piano is a gr7 way to get ideas. Make up a chord progression, improvise a melody, and bam! you have an idea.

  I didn't know how to make a Trance chord progression until I practiced playing one on the Piano for like half an hour. And I think the pad turned out pretty nice because of it.
