Audacity can change audio sample bit rate like a pro. Upload the sample and down in the left hand corner of Audacity you can change the bit rate to 44.1 khz. You can also clean, amplify, and perfect your samples before exporting. If you don't have LAME installed you can export the sample as an mpeg or with LAME you can export it as an mp3. Cool stuff.
Was rather thinking to John Wayne (I had some speach of him to put, but not in 44,1Khz so rejected by the app; Someone knows how to change that??) , but the old Clint is also a good choice.
