It's been quite some time since I published a track, I've been busy with school lately and lacking inspiration and motivation. BUT- I had this idea suddenly come to me yesterday, and I had to get going on it! I finally tried experimenting with more devices to see if I could improve my sound. I know it's still not professional, but I still think it came out alright overall. I went for a different type of EDM track from what I normally do (minus certain presets like the high pitch edm arp, cero's piano preset, etc.) and I'm pretty satisfied with how it came out! It was a blast trying to tackle this drop concept that the whole track is based around. I'm pretty hyped about this one!
CONCERN: I'm still not 100% satisfied with the drums, I tried to fix the volume to my liking but it's still not quite there... I swear the drums and risers sounded better in studio than they actually do here in the published version as well, that really sucks -_-
Should I put a bit of reverb on the drums to try to improve the sound?
Fun Fact: I edited my pfp on FlipaClip to make this glowing eye cover lol
Thanks! Occasionally, I like to add chiptune influences into my EDM because I did enjoy making more chiptune music back then and I still enjoy it. I'm hoping I can get back into making chiptune a little more again soon.
This is fantastic! Massive vibe! One thing I gotta say though, I notice you using a ton of presets. More than anything, I stress this: steer clear of presets. When you're only using presets, it holds you back from being able to have better sound design and you don't get to know how to use the tools you're given as well. If there's a preset you particularly like, then try recreating it rather than just using the preset. Other than the sound design, this is amazing asf.

I checked out one of DJ Striden's tracks and I could already see what you mean. You introduced me to a cool artist! So far, I like how their tracks are definitely video game-worthy but still have some of that passionate emotional feel to it. It reminds me a bit of my style at times, I could see myself getting more into their music.
Thanks, really appreciate it! I don't know who that is unfortunately but the name sounds familiar, maybe I'll look them up later to see what you're talking about.
Presets are definitely a good stepping stone. I create a way for innovations and really knowing how to inspire experimentation knowing how to conveniently alter instruments. I really loved the melody, kina reminds me of DJ Striden if you know who that is. I definitely love this piece and your pieces definetly have a lot of potential! ^_^
