*AETHER VALLEY*
Round 2, Kids! Really wanted to take my time with this one and I like the way it turned out. I tried fusing some ambient elements into this style of Future Bass, while still emphasizing the hype moments. The song name and most of the melodies were actually inspired by Final Fantasy (7 & 15). I felt really connected to the Violins in this. Orchestral instruments are my personal favorites and I love whenever I get to implement them into my songs.

Fun Facts:
The Arp pattern that occurs in the intro, @ 1:39 , and @ 3:43 is directly inspired by the harpsichord jingle found in most Final Fantasy games. The thematic concept of the song is from the perspective of a resident of Midgar during the events of FFVII. "Aether" is a double reference to the game's magic system as well as the character "Aerith". The violins were a nod to FFXV use of orchestral instrumentation throughout the soundtrack, specifically the main theme "Somnus"
