Today kinda sucked. My country isn't a part of the EU anymore because of racist old people who won't have to deal with the cosequences of this decision. The working classes and less educated were fed lies about immigration and spending, whipping up a fear frenzy, turning "Brit" against "non-Brit". Just hours after the result, one of the politicians backing 'leave' said what they had promised (funding the NHS) wouldn't actually happen. The value of the pound (£) fell from $ 1.50 to $ 1.30 over night. I simply cannot understand the decision to leave unless you're a stupid, patriotic racist. 'Sticking it to the establishment' was not the point of the referendum and now we're going to suffer from the actions of ill-informed, misguided voters.

i dont think the consequences are going to be as bad as what people are saying. my dad voted to leave, and he has some pretty solid reasons to be fair. not any of the immigration bullshit anyways. i was 100% for staying, but unfortunately i cant fucking vote so i guess my opinion doesnt matter
