- nice to see a newbie use the synths and the 303 instead of just samples... so it proves you want to learn ;-)
- the setup of the pulv, the heisenberg and the 303 are really good. The notes and melodies are simple but good too.
- the construction of the track is really interesting : i'm not a specialist of grime but i admit i like this "slow motion"'s track, it is experimental and i like that.
- the mixing : one rule : always adjust the volume on the centroid... not on the master output. indeed your waveform is good, but the bass with the crasher is too loud as the drums. So adjust that.
Also one good way to do a good mixing : always work at first (when you are creating the track) with the limiter on the master output on "off"... as so you will listen immediately what sound is too loud... after for the final mixing you can put the limiter on.
- It needs some variation : the track is a bit flat...... don't be afraid to play with the frequencies on the pulv and the filter on the heisenberg. Also the drums are too flat : maybe try to add to your machiniste some hats, snare, clap, drums, fx.... to add some little variation to your main beat.
- you can use one of my favourite effect : the slope; with that you can precisely play with some specific frequencies and therefore your mixing will be more clear and there will be some cool variation in the frequencies.
Well i think that's all what i can say to you for now ;-) keep it up m8 ;-)
