      Rather than linking it with the rest of the drums i put it into the centroid with a PEq boosting the high ends. The centroid's output goes into a compressor so the clap gets sidechained with everything else.

      It's compressed enough or something that it doesn't actually resemble the loop much. That's how samples should be implemented imo :D
