i don't really like publishing tracks just so i can render out .wavs so i can work on the idea in other software.

don't get me wrong. i love audiotool. i'm just finding that i'm using it less and less because of things like this.

in some ways it is a very cool tool but i think a lack of transportability of data is a big bummer.

easier sound exporting would be lovely. as would some sort of midi import-export.

to be honest, i've been cheating on you, audiotool. i found another music web app that does these things. and it doesn't even require a login. i can work on an idea & save that work on my computer or save it as an audio file.

i'm not going to stop using you audiotool. i like your style. even though sometimes you bog me down in your oh too literal visual interface. you still have some hot moves, but i am seing other people.
