I think the track needs a louder, more fulfilling bass since it sounds quite hollow. I like the uniqueness of the disharmonious elements though a different selection of softer drums, followed by a quasar and reverb to the melody could create a more ambient tone to the track. If you are aiming for the genre synthwave, I suggest you create a more specific and slower melody at the beginning since it is easier to progress with such a melodic structure for a better foundation and drop in this genre.
