i wanted some form of it out, because it's just stunning.
mind you, this is completely different from what you'll hear when the original is published, nor from anything i've made recently
i tried taking an untraditional path with this one, especially on the drums

the next glorifying moment in which she can find herself again
but she doesn’t understand
that if she could just look inside herself

bubbly and energetic as always
waiting to get closer

This is really kind of neat! It's atmospheric, melancholy, drab, but also strangely uplifting and hopeful.
Very cool atmosphere, very cool experimentation with sound and composition. Very interesting work! Nice job, both of you!

tuned High hats and rides or panned slightly left or right can divide the percussive elements more cleanly in your mix without having to make as much of a volume adjustment
Try some saturation on your sounds. If you want some tips on that, or videos, hit up myself or Cal Lycus. Pretty sure Client knows what's up too, he can probably help with that.

Also, the bass is lacking. I am on headphones, mind you, but I'm not picking up on too many low end sounds. They're there, but I feel like they could support the melodies and harmonies a bit more if they were a bit...thicker (for alack of a better term). Drums are also weak and flat. They could be much more dynamic/bombastic. a Nice crash symbol would be right at home in this mix, I think.

the panning at 02:27 is cool, but it's too dramatic. It sounds like you might be going from -100 left to +100 right. I might advise making that range a bit smaller, so as to not contrast so greatly (unless that's the point, ofc).
if the point is to contrast, then the switch over is a bit bumpy.
if the point is to blend, then it stands out too much. Try a panning range of like -40 to +40
