this is such a nice track
So, awhile back (when we were in school) my science teacher would play music from a game called Maplestory...
I tried to make something with the same style and got something like this... It had all the elements I wanted but it felt like something was missing, but I left it alone...

Awhile has passed and I saw the Home Office challenge and it said I could make a remake of one of my own tracks. So, I decided to remake this, and I think I did a good job.

The mix feels very hollow. Needs a few extra basses. There's a bit too many mid-high freq synths so it's hard to stay focusd to the melody.

the drums are super in your face compared to the synths, i would turn em down and highpass the hats so theres less low frequencies. mix wise i would like something more in the lofi direction (not necessarily 100% lofi, but more subtle than what you have now)
