    I understand what you're getting at here, but it doesn't quite hit hard enough.

    Those stabs in the drop on the downbeats (around 00:40 for example) need to SLAP.

    try splitting your kicks and snares each into 2 channels (one with a HPF and one with a LPF)

    after the filters, merge and add a compressor but I can't remember the settings atm, you might have to look that up
