  • Okay, so. For Drop 1, the basses lack an "energy" where it doesn't hit accurately, it only hits a tiny bit. So, I would take your Equalizer of either of your sub-basses and cut it around 40-60 Hz or make the kick hit around a higher octave around maybe 120 Hz, so it doesn't overwhelm your instruments. Same thing applies to Drop 2, just eq'd in different Hz's I presume. The equalizer should make it less clippy imo.

    • Maybe increasing the attack would help your kick, and then eq it. Mergers, splitters in my personal experience help them punch through too.

    • I believe the kick should be an octave above your sub because the kick is very essential.

    • 2nd drop is the same as the first, with some elements removed, with the basses playing an octave lower than 1st

  • I do like that snare tho, need to figure out how I made that
