Zir0h: For the record, the composition was done mostly by GREK, with a few suggestions towards transitions and dynamics by me. He really nailed this one, and I believe it's practically usable in a professional setting! I've said it before and I'll say it again, this dude works hard and he's got something special. A diamond in the rough. Keep working on your mixing, bud. It's getting better.

So I went ahead and put some finishing touches on it, mostly in regards to leveling the track overall and EQing the instruments individually. I've been absent lately due to life issues so GREK deserves most of the credit here. I hope it sounds better though, with a little Zir0h magic ;)

The glock samples grek used had a lot of reverb and sustain to begin with, and he routed thru a quantum to create that infinite reverb effect, but it was too much, so I clipped the VERY beginning and most of the ends of the glock samples, and kept the Quantum settings to make sound cleaner.

-When using high reverb it is important to remember that only a short signal is required since the high decay will sustain the note on its own!

GREK: Ok, here we go. . .

The main idea was to do something like a suspense game, with all the atmosphere that could be created.

o Initial glocs, were thought to give this atmosphere of suspense with high notes, but it can be noticed that among the atmosphere, there is something fascinating, something intriguing, which can be something good. well, then the initial plucks come in, which give that feeling.

Then we have a part where the excursions come in, it may be that they feel military, but the idea was to do something that was scary (well, that will depend), but I think it didn't work very well.

so, we have the apex, the most intense part, this one was really militarized, XD.

but well, here it is. I hope you enjoy!

  • Had to like for the culture lmao

But actually really fire track, nailed the suspenseful vibe

    • Be sure to check out the remix i did "Falling In Love"!

  • Travis Scott vibes, it's lit!!!!!!

    • Can kinda see why they said it has TS vibes, with the plucks following a darker chord pattern at the beginning but the rest isn't there lol

    • aka "whoever I currently listen to that's even slightly similar" vibes

Trust me travis scott was not the inspiration, but if you wanna compare us to him, go ahead, it's more than flattering. I hate it when people say this type of thing tho *nervous chuckle*

  • hmm scary phonk? idk i might ruin the song but i might try.

    • give it a shot! Please feel free to share your results :)

    • ill work hard on it XD

  • This sounds like a background music for a very cool animation movie!!! So good! :DDD

  • it reminds me of the tunnel/cave scene when you pass the angel village in illusion of gaia. totally could be incorporated into a game

  • one of my favorites.

  • cool numéro 1 one

  • this is cool but a lot of the sound design needs work tho

  • nice

  • I like it!

    • Thanks for listening! Be sure to check out our other tracks :)

  • Damn thats prett cool

  • this is some cool atmosphere. i dont mind the vibe. its a cool sound, but i doubt it could actually be used in a movie or anything. my one critique is that the impacts and percussion seem kinda messy and all over the place

  • Really cool
