I used tons of reverb and pulsar delay to give it that atmospheric touch. It makes everything sound very satisfying. I will be turning remix and download off for a bit because I'm tired of people taking my songs and putting them on streaming platforms pretending that it's theirs. It's been happening alot recently :(
- Note: The mixing could use some work and it is a bit short but this was as far as my pc was able to handle it, so my apologies if some of the elements are too loud..
Very cool!:) I find it quite impressive that you made such a good reese bass using a space. For feedback, I would say that when the low end perks start at
00:06
, the rough, deep frequencies can get mixed up with the reese bass, producing an unpleasant sound. That is why I always like to drag the green, yellow or purple thing down on the curve for almost all of my perks to cut off the displeasing textures. Some very high-end perks included could also be great.
Thank you, although "good" is a big word. Since I'm still not entirely pleased by the way it came out. Getting the Reese bass' texture and tone right was the most frustrating part of it. And overal, the mixing is quite bad, there's an unbalance between the low and high frequencies, some of the elements are too loud. This was as far as my crappy 2012 laptop could handle, I would have to invest more time in order to truely perfect this track :)
I also really like the reverb and pulsar delay used – it does remind of some of my old and newer tracks and the flow is really nice. Only thing I would say reverb-wise is that you shouldn’t really be using this many quasars for the perks/synths incorporated – there is this gritty after effect with a quasar which can mainly be removed from using curves and better work with the features of the effect. A simple reverb does the job!
