Sorry that it took me so long. Second shift is killing me. I think I'd give the bass a little quicker of decay so that it's not getting in the way of the kick. I'd also sidechain the bass too.
once again, it's really cool in the composition. Something I'd expect from a synth-line in horse the band, not so much retrowave. See if you can do something else with this sound, I really do think you're onto something!

So, I'm listening on my phone speakers right now, but it sounds very interesting. Like you took a more cinematic angle on it. I'm not sure if it's in a Lydian key or if some notes are just hitting sour, but I like the tension it brings. As far as mixing goes, I'm flying blind with the phone speaker, but I'd guess that it's decently mixed.
