But really, other people's dnb inspires my dnb. I love Phace. I also love cgman's music. Of course, Jonjon introduced me to dnb in the first place through his music, so of course his music kind of opened the door for me to listen to others. But not only dnb inspires my dnb. Other genres do as well. ;)
TopHat, good question! I'm currently working on a project A-Z. The idea is to create a collection of dnb that kind of makes a statement about where we're going in some ways regarding the future. Technology, robots, computers, etc. taking on a life of their own. A lot of the tracks sound ominous and it's deliberate. It's not really that I think technology is bad. It's more about addressing certain fears (for instance, robots really creep me out.) :)
You should def make a T next :) This is wonderfully trippy and avant garde when it comes to futuristic DnB. They soundscapes are massive.. sounduniverses. Great mix oedipax. My only question is, what inspires your Drum n Bass?
