It was Wednesday when I had a weird thought... What about Audiotool? Does the site where I spent a significant amout of my time as a teenager still exist? Is anyone still using it? Huh
Somehow it got me, when the familiar interface popped up and people that I haven't heard of in years started appearing on m y timeline. Scrolling through my old projects, I felt like the shy and dreamy kid again, that I was back when I discovered audiotool. But how thing have changed...
Comeing back to this website felt like a reunion with a long lost friend. Remembering that this community is not like many others. A place of understanding for a troubled young mind. This place had a huge influnce on who I am now, on my passion for music and many other things. So it is time to give back.
Seeing that some of you guys kept commenting on my wall an my tracks, although I haven't showep up in over a year is mesmerizing. What I want to do with this track, is making some kind of a AMA. In the following I will tell you, what happened in the lat 2-3 years of my life. I would invite you guys to do the same.
You truly can‘t put it into words, what happens to you, when good techno grabs you and forces you to just keep on dancing. It is like filling an empty space you didn‘t even know existed.
I‘ve been studying law for a year and a half now. Its ridiculous how much work you have to put in it, but i hang in there together with the people from Uni. That is what keeps you going. I learned to really enjod this competitive atmosphere.
The crazy thing is, that here in Germany, to get your degree in law, you have to study for 5 Years. To become a lawyer you have to take another exam, which also takes 2 years. I am 19 now. When everything goes as planned, I am finished with 25...
ahaha that sounds great, my brother took a semester abroad to Berlin and all he did was go to techno raves and now he's obsessed with it, bought analogue synthesizers and everything. it definitely sounds like a better scene that the average edm festival lmao.
The thing that gets me every damn time is how people behave on the dancefloor. Everyone is having a great time by themself. You don‘t have to get fucked up and try to entertain other people. Damn, sometimes I am just dancing in the middle of the croud and start thinking about birds or books. You get my point.
If you are fed up with the „usual“ way of partying, try techno. You will love it!
