Your snares/claps and hi-hats would rather stand out more in a mix if you use a very subtle side-chained element to your snares. You can also do this with the hi-hats as well because they sound more fluid and vary but need to be very cautious with the attack times and ratios or your sounds will clip. Other than that, it's very cool!
