this is more of a proof of concept using a technique i came up with that i call "reverse sidechain"
essentially, how this technique works is it takes an audio signal (carrier), sidechains it with another audio signal (modulator), then makes that output the trigger for sidechain to itself
what this accomplishes is inverting the signals so that i can do some pretty weird stuff to it
After messing around with this for a while, i realized that this is kind of how a vocoder works, and so i decided to try my hand at making one using this technique
Now this isnt the closest attempt that i can muster; i'm probably going to redo this using the same technique but having all the bands doing reverse sidechain whereas here i have separated them into bands in order to filter it to sound more like a vocoder instead of to make it function more like a vocoder
sorry if this is different than my usual stuff; im trying to push the limits of AT again before next releases
hopefully this doesnt get stolen by the 12 yos again haha
