mm 1) thank you for the thorough answer 2) this is also very humbling bc for some reason ive internalized using presets as cheating (I do not stand on this though) and it’s becoming more obvious that I have been doing myself a big disservice by not exploring what others have been doing

Could also be luck and practice. But the reality is that Ik most of these designs bc of others, If it weren't for presets and opened remixes. I wouldn't be able to learn. That's the best part of Audiotool. Unlike watching YouTube videos, your able to just have it right in front of you and play around with it and tweek it

This is a good guess but I'm pretty sure u nailed it, but I think as an artist I feel like we've been blessed with the ear to hear our own ideas, make them come to life, and let others enjoy them. I make music bc this made me happy and I feel like if it makes others happy why not show it. I dont know how to play the piano or have any real music theory. But I think it's the countless and countless hours of hearing others that I was able to learn and create my own ideas, without them, I'm no one
